The Eye Center of Central Georgia offers laser treatments for a wide variety of eye conditions.
SLT Laser
The SLT Laser was acquired by the Eye Center in 2014. This laser is used to treat glaucoma and high intraocular pressure. For more information on the Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty procedure, click here.
YAG (Yttrium-Aluminum-Garnet) Laser
The YAG Laser can be used in a procedure called a capsulotomy to help clear up the haze that can form after cataract removal surgery. For more information on capsulotomies, click here.
It can be used to treat or prevent acute angle closure glaucoma in a procedure called an iridotomy. For more information on iridotomies, click here.
Argon Laser
The Argon Laser can be used to treat a wide variety of diseases, including retinal disease due to diabetes, vascular disorders, retinal tears, and glaucoma.
